Cancer Treatment

Possible treatment with antibodies that could boost the immune system to help fight some cancers. The treatment showed a significantly higher survival neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer – in laboratory tests, and they expect to ever be used to treat children with this disease.
The antibodies did not work so well with more aggressive tumors, but researchers then one of them accompanied with a peptide, a protein fragment-specific, and together they destroyed between 40 and 60 percent of these tumors. (more…)
