Green tea has gained the reputation it has in the world, largely due to the polyphenols, the substance that contains many of its properties. With these, commonly known as catechins, green tea can be considered one of the great man’s natural allies.Basically, the green tea polyphenol-type has four catechins: the epicatechin, epicatechin gallate, epigallocatechin and the epigallocatechin gallate.
